First buck under my stand

This is the first buck I have seen under my stand with the game cam. I have seen at least one more when I was hunting last week. So the bucks are finally moving around some. I am going to move the camera to a new location to scout some. I shot a young doe right here just a few days before this shot was taken. I have still got plenty of does coming to this spot to get corn, so now I am going to try to set up on some trails with my little blind to see if I can catch them off guard.

Opening Day 2009

A few moments out of my opening day morning on the phone-camera video.

First Buck to show.

Finally after three months of taking pictures with my game-cameras I have got a shot of a young Buck. Sure enough, like I thought, the Bucks will start to show up where the Does are. He is just a spike, but I bet I will start to catch a few good Bucks on film soon.

My Dove Season 09

.

new post

Some shots from last week. Deer bow season Starts in the morning. I have been feeding at this spot all spring and summer. I even planted a food plot of rye-grass and clover. I hope that I get a shot on opening day, it would be so sweet. We are out of deer meat so a big Doe would be just what I would want. I just hope one tries to get a little corn in the morning.

August 2009

I liked the shots I got from my first game camera so I bought another one to go at my son's stand near where I hunt. We got some great shots of deer and some Quail at Chris's stand. We got some good shots from my stand too, enjoy.

last shots of July 09

Got the card from the camera today, looks like a few deer are still hitting the corn everyday. The game feeder is working great I can't say enough about the Moutrie Game Feeder. I have had it up for two months feeding twice a day and the battery is still at almost 100% charged. I had deer feeding at it within a week of putting it out. I also use a Moutrie Game Cam to get the photos, and again I just can't say enough good things about it. I love to be able and see just about every thing that comes by my tree-stand. I can not wait for the Bow-season to start. Thanks for stopping by!

Late july 2

Some more shots from last week in the woods on the Gold Hill Ridge, near Mt. Pleasant N.C. I can not wait for deer season to start. I am ready this year. I have had corn out all Summer, and the Does are coming to my stand all times of the day. I got my tri-pod set up on a ridge over Asa's creek, Down the road from where I live in Rockwell, N.C.

Late July 2009

Finally I went and got the card from my remote game camera. Wow, I got some great shots of some deer checking out the corn pile. Bow season is just a month a a half away and I got deer all around my stand. Haven't seen any bucks yet, but they will show up soon enough! Hope to post again next week, thanks for looking!

Coyote?

Looks like a coyote, but it could be a raccoon what do you think? Leave a comment please.

July 1 2009

My son, Chris, went out to get the memory card from the game cam today. We got a lot of shots of squirrels eating our corn. We also got some more great shots of does and fawns checking out the corn feeder. Thanks for looking at my site, leave a comment if you see something that you like.

Raccoons

A night shot of a raccoon getting a little corn.

my game camera

I have started this new blog to showcase the photos that I get from my remote deer game camera. I put out a wild-life feeder near my home in Rockwell, North Carolina, to attract deer to my tri-pod deer-stand during the up coming 2009 bow season. I put up a game camera to capture what checks out my corn. I got these shots of a few does and a few fawns so far... Thanks for looking!
